Hello there Habit Changers!
If you’ve been following my blog, you know that currently, I’m pretty hooked with everything Bullet Journal. I use it for almost everything now; time tracker, habit tracker, expense tracker, weight tracker, meal tracker, and almost all sort of things that I want to track. But the thing that I love about it the most is how I can practice my creativity. It doesn’t judge if I didn’t draw a straight line, or if my grammar is wrong. In this world where we are usually judge by how perfect we should project our life to be, my bullet journal has been my retreat when everything else fails, cause it’s perfectly fine to be imperfect.
Since April I started adding a colour theme every month and May is the green month.
Monthly Spread & Habit Tracker
I’m using the monthly spread similar to how it was described by the founder of Bullet Journal. On the left, I have list view of the day and dates for the month of May, with a small description on the events that I expect for the month. I also have my monthly goals and bill tracker on this page. On the right side is my habit tracker inspired by Kara Benz of Boho Berry.
The Memories spread is my favourite part of my Bullet Journal. I love to see how this page comes to life each and everyday that the boxes are slowly getting filled out.
I’ve been colour coding my expenses to split them into 4 categories:
- Green for Business and Investment
- Blue for Necessities (food, transportation, cellphone plan)
- Pink for Personal (things I buy to pamper myself :))
- Read for Avoidable (fastfood meals, excessive pampering)
Food Tracker (Lose 20lbs in 30 Days Challenge)
Earlier this month, I started my Lose 20lbs in 30 Days Challenge, which I found from Tim Ferriss. I tracked each and every foods that I took, but I’m sad to admit that I had really fail this challenge miserably. I’m not even able to keep up with the foods for one week. I started preparing my packed lunch, but due to the lack of variety, I just cannot take another day eating it. With that I totally lost the momentum and just fell into my usual eating routine.
Verdict: Failed! 😦
Dailies (Daily Log)
I’m still keeping the same format for my dailies where I put a clip-like border to separate the days. Every night before I go to bed, I would put all the tasks that I need to complete the next day. I’ve been doing this quite religiously now, and I found myself not cramming early morning figuring out the things that needs to be done for the day.
I try to add a variety of collections in my Bullet Journal and this month I added this 13 Tips on How to Read More from Entreprenuer.com. I added my own spin to it by putting some doodles, so I can easily recall these tricks.
